Perveen, born in Salford and currently residing in Manchester, comes from a diverse background. Her father was Pakistani, and her mother, though born in Manchester, has Indian roots. She is one of four siblings. Perveen honed her craft at the University of Salford, where she studied Media Performance. In addition to her acting skills, she is a trained Bollywood dancer and is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Potwari.
Perveen has experienced a dynamic personal life. She has been married three times and is currently divorced. Unfortunately, due to endometritis, Perveen could not have children of her own. This led to her adopting her niece, the daughter of her younger brother, which was given to her as a birthday present. Although she does not have biological children, she loves her adopted daughter dearly. Known for her vibrant personality, Perveen often finds herself in relationships with younger men, typically 10 to 25 years her junior. However, she has a hard time staying faithful in relationships, which has led to multiple divorces.
The love of her life was her cousin, with whom she had an affair. He was almost 25 years younger than her. Perveen wanted to marry him and even pretended she was pregnant to persuade him, but unfortunately, his family did not approve, which ended their relationship.
Perveen likes to lead people to believe she is younger than she is, and her acting headshots are a mixture of images taken from 2003 to 2016. As a result, she currently does not have any up-to-date photos online. She dresses very young for her age, often wearing provocative clothes that show cleavage and her midriff. Despite this, Perveen usually plays the role of a mother in TV shows due to her facial features, which lend themselves well to maternal characters.
Perveen once faced legal troubles and was arrested for fraud. She was let off with community service and a fine. Since then, she has improved herself and become actively involved in her local community, offering belly dancing classes and acting classes for seniors.
