Heston has been called to an elderly patient, who is dead when he arrives. He is then forced to referee an argument between the three children as they argue about her last wishes, which were to allow her body to be used for medical research.
Lily, meanwhile, is called to confirm the death of a man found on the edge of a bonfire. An eager policeman wants it to be a suspicious death, but Lily works out that he fell into the bonfire, and that his dog had tried to pull him out.
In the middle of all this, Heston tries to contact Lily to reassure her that he is not gay.
