Alistair Appleton is in Devon house-hunting with a couple looking for their first home together. One of them is a hoarder with a passion for character features while the other wants a minimalist home. With a budget of £550,000, they want at least four bedrooms, a room big enough for an enormous music collection and at least two separate reception rooms.
