Gohan and Kuririn are delighted to hear from Bulma that Goku is on his way to Planet Namek. However, Goku's spaceship is struck by a meteor. It has slipped off of its course to Namek and is in danger of plunging into a scorching planet!! On Planet Namek, Vegeta, who has acquired the skill of being able to sense Ki, gets the jump on Freeza and arrives at a village with one of the remaining Dragon Balls.
