Consultant criminalist, Astrid Nielsen, who is also autistic, helps Commander Raphaëlle Coste solve criminal investigations. With conspiracy theory followers or a Native American community, in places as varied as a monastery or a psychiatric hospital, the two women combine their talents to solve these cases.
